1974 170 Aquasport What's it worth
« on: July 08, 2024, 12:09:26 PM »
I have a 1974 Aquasport 170 with a 1979 Evinrude 85hp 2 stroke engine. Motor has tilt (no trim) that works, motor was rebuilt and bored .030 in 1998 (i have the paperwork) The boat sat unused from 2001 - 2020 (life got in the way). Motor probably has less than 50 hours on it and runs great.  I replaced the waterpump, fuel lines, carburetors, throttle and shift cables last year. New trailer was purchased last year and has only been in the water 4 times. Hull is in good shape with some scratches. Deck is solid with 1 soft spot behind cockpit seat. I also have custom cushions for both seats. Looking at selling but not sure of asking price. Tried to attach pictures but site says too big.

You can resize the pics down to 1080x768 and attach them or you can use the gallery folder you have in the gallery to upload the original pic (gallery will resize for you) and then paste a link to the pic in your post. If you want to do the latter, follow the instructions here http://classicaquasport.com/smf/index.php?topic=12725.0  - don't attach them - you are limited by file size and guessing what size to make the file will usually reduce the pic too much. Uploading them into your "member gallery" is better for viewing and the system takes whatever size you upload and resizes it to the best size.
Spend a few minutes to absorb the instructions. It's really easy. Remember if using a phone to take pics, to hold the phone horizontal with the lens to the left.
