Good morning..Its hard to believe I haven't been on the site for 6 years!
Last I posted I was looking for a chalk for my bow running lights..This search was successful.
I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on how I reinstall my running lights? its been so long, Ive
cant recall. Currently there is a more modern running light but id like original.
Ive enclosed pics if anyone can assist or direct me .
Thank you,
Hank

Time flies so first things first.
Can you disassemble the fixture?
No sense getting too deep in the weeds on wiring until you know the condition of the lamp base.

vinegar works wonders on getting the green corrosion off parts like that. dilute w water 50/50 and let soak a few hours.

It looks like the top just sits on top of the bottom and the bottom is a spacer to allow some room for running the wires through the bottom of the upper piece. I think you take the top and bottom apart, then disassemble the top (2 screws) which exposes the lamp base and the bottom of the upper assembly. remove the lamp base and that gives you access to holes that you can use for long screws to secure the whole assembly to the front deck, where there will be a hole that the wire runs up into the assembly. Sound feasible? The screw on the underside of the upper assembly is to ground the assembly and could also be one side of the connection to the lamp? Can you disassemble the upper piece and take pics of that for us?
