Anybody have prop recomendations, the prop on the engine now pushes wot and pretty slow i have looked over the entire prop and there is no numbers or name. Mercury prop selection says 4 blade 13x19 pitch.

Richiebe - sometimes if the prop specs will be on labeled on the hub (if a fixed hub). You can see this if you take of the locking nut on the prop shaft.

Unknow on full wot as it would run all the way up to 5000 and it wouldnt be complete wot and i would pull it back down to 3500, took prop off clean it up and looked over every inch of the prop there isnt one mark any where. It is a one piece prop i did check to see if it was bad prop hub put a paint mark on prop and hub took it for quick spin when i rechecked it the marks where about a 1/2" off so i bought a 4 blade 13x19 prop today will check it out this weekend.

Why only 5000 RPM?  I think that max RPM on the 115 Optimax is 5700.  Lightly loaded, your engine should be turning close to max.

I have a 115 but was in a similar scenario. Top end of the RPM range on the 115 was 6000, but with the original prop I was only seeing 5100 WOT.
I sent a note to Ken Reeves at PropGods who recommended a prop which got me up to 6000, increased my top end speed and helps with mid-range cruise.
I'd highly recommend contacting him if you are looking for a prop recommendation (kr@propgods.com)

I have a skiff that I want to cut down like this and put a flat top deck on but im not sure how to roll the gunwale edge like this. Do you use a guide like a piece of PVC pipe?
