Switch panel
« on: August 14, 2018, 05:08:01 PM »
Does anyone know where I can get a new switch panel made for my 2002 osprey sport 215 DC ? Mine is giving me problems, some of the circuit breakers are falling out and I think it would be easier just to update to new switches.

Not sure where you are located, check out surplus marine places for switches and CBs.  It's easy to replace them.

I'm in the Tampa Bay Area. I noticed on here there is a place in Ft. Piece I might check out. Almost straight across the state.

If you need to go the custom route, you may want to check with New Wire Marine.  https://newwiremarine.com

They built a panel for me.  Mine is simple rectangle, with switches and breakers, but they can duplicate other shapes too.  Not cheap, but the components are top quality.

I replaced the switch panel in my 246 CCP this winter with a rocker switch/breaker panel off amazon. It's pretty basic and I though the price was decent for how simple it was to plug it into the old slot. Clearly a foreign product as there's many different "brands" selling the same product but it's worked well for me so far. Quality seems decent for the money and the usb plugs were a plus. Might be worth a look. They also have different sizes depending on how many switches you need.

I just replaced the panel on my 2002 225 Explorer. FP Marine in Rockledge , Florida has many Aquasport panels on their website, as well as other manufacturers. They fabricate the panels. Price, in my opinion, was reasonable. I added background lighting to my panel. Turnaround time was quick. They also have the breakers and switches. Connector hardware was inexpensive, compared to other sellers.  FPmarine.com.

Did they wire/jumper the panel also or just provided the switches? Looking at doing this next year for my 175.
