Steering piston for 245 explorer
« on: November 13, 2018, 09:22:01 PM »
Does anyone know what steering cylinder is used on a 1996 245 explorer with twin evinrude 150's? Mine is leaking pretty bad and I'd like to replace it, but all labels, numbers, etc are worn off and unreadable. I did a search on here but couldn't find what it is.
Thanks in advance.

as mentioned most likely a Seastar.  Just get the kit to replace the end caps.

1987 170 w/ Evinrude 90
