Here comes another storm - Michael

Hopefully it won't stay in the warm waters of the gulf very long and build into a monster. The northern gulf coast is the target as usual.
The path shows it going right back to the Carolinas, where I'm not sure they've even recovered from the last storm, Flo. You don't see any news coverage of the recovery there. Guess it's not big enough news for them anymore.
Batten down the hatches and stay safe everyone.

Well, this think has built into something nasty, a CAT 4 storm. Be smart and safe up in the panhandle.

I heard that for a very short time this storm actually made it to Cat 5 and then at landfall it went back to CAT 4 at 155mph (CAT 5 is 157 mph).
I hope everyone is ok.
This thing is moving fast - the eye is almost into GA already just a couple hours since landfall.
