Working on a project boat and need new shift cables for a 1991 Aquasport 175. Will a 14 foot cable work or do I need longer or shorter? Also does anyone of pictures of the live well in the console seat. I look like I have an overflow drain near the starboard fuel fill but I cannot find the hose that would attached to the live well.

Hey not sure about the cables but I also have a 91 175 and my livewell just has a recirculating pump on it located right under, just pulls water that's in there already and pumps it back in the keep it aerated. To fill it I just use a bucket a scoop some water up. Also mine just has a little drain plug on the port side used to empty it, when you do it just runs out onto the deck.

I have a 170 and I think I bought 14' cables.  If I recall that was a bit tight.  Also I think your rigging is routed different then mine.  The length of the cables should be stamped on them a few feet from the engine end of the cable jacket.
