1987 270xf twin 350 exhaust pipes
« on: June 27, 2018, 10:57:40 AM »
Hello everyone. Does anyone know where I would be able to find replacement exhaust pipes for this model. I am talking about the silver about 5" diameter, 2 into one pipes. The ones I have are rusting through at the welds and starting to leak. Thank You Jim

Take a picture and visit or call a marine salvage or liquidator for your best shot.  After that you are doing custom-made.  If going custom, consider stainless.   :great02:

Attaching pics are size limited, uploading them are not.
Its best to upload the pics to your free gallery and then paste the link into your post.
Follow these instructions to upload the pics - it's very easy.

I checked around a bit - this may help:

Looks like metal has been mostly replaced by fiberglass for wet exhaust systems.

Thank you! I will look at the fiberglass option.
