Osprey 225 Transducer Location Opinions
« on: April 02, 2017, 05:44:24 PM »
Hopefully I picked the right location to post. This is my 1994 225 Osprey. I finally got it on the water with a 04' 250 Yamaha HDPI..I just installed the Garmin 74sv. comes with this long side view transducer. The previous small transducer was off the the right but there is a saltwater wash down pick in that area and the other side had my live well pick up..both i'm sure will create bubble stream...so I set in in the center along side the drain plug level with the hull line. What do you think..good, no good?

Sorry no one answered - I don't have a Euro transom on my boats so I couldn't speak with any experience.  The pic is very hard to see anything in it - if you upload to your gallery here and then post the pic following these instructions:

You have to understand, this website is a great resource, but people can't help, if they don't know.  You asked a very specific question about a specific model.  There are many more 170s, 196s and 222 ospreys here than all other models.
