Hi there, long time lurker finally outing myself looking for some guidance. Re-powered our ~1997 175 last year with a new etec. Love the result except that the scuppers now live underwater. The new etec 115 is a couple hundred pounds heavier than the old merc 115 and I'd love the boat to be self-bailing again. I'm suspicious that the stringers aren't dry and wouldn't mind replacing the fuel tank too. Anyone know of a good place on Long Island to rip up the floor, replace the stingers, tank and put everything back together again?
