Coffin box. 1985. 222CCP

I need clarification on the compartments of this box, is the two side by side lids compartment the "fish box" and the one single lid at front an ice box? :shrug:

That was the original intent but some folks just used the forward section for storage.

The single lid at the front is the "cooler".  I put drinks and ice in it a time or to.  I was not impressed as the ice melted quickly.  Not insulated as well as I thought it would be.  I never tried the fish boxes out.  As Capt. Bob stated, most of us used it for storage.  That seemed to be the best use for it since the CCP has limited storage.

It would work as a bait well.  The only problem would be that the forward location would give your bait a rough ride.
