Navigation lights not working...

New to the site... Gotta say it has been a wealth of knowledge for this novice Osprey owner. I am sure this topic was covered before, but could not find it on search. I have a 2003 Osprey 175 and the Navigation lights on bow and stern don't come on when I flick the switch. Is there a fuse or something for these? Could it be a bad switch? Where is the wiring harness for the boat? Also would this have anything to do with my gas gauge being stuck on Full when I power up the boat. Any info would be helpful. Thank you.

You probably have a breaker that either needs to be reset or replaced. Fuses had gone the way of the dinosaur by 2003 on the Aquas. I believe the breakers are behind the panel. I'll see if I can find a pic. 

As for the fuel gauge, it sounds like the tank sensor is corroded allowing full power to the gauge.

Thanks Captain Bob! I will take another look under the console to see what I can find. I will also cleanup the connections on the unit going into the tank. If you find the pictures send them along.

I'm not sure if your switch setup is similar to my 2002 205 Osprey, but on my boat the breakers are located on the switch panel right next to the switches.  The reset buttons are covered by rubber boots.  If you press the boot and feel something inside, it is tripped.  Just press it fully to reset the breaker.

As Craig stated, it appears the breakers are accessed next to the switch. Follow his lead.

As for the fuel gauge. Often the culprit is the sensor itself. It lies in the harsh world of dead dinosaurs and often the winding in the rheostat is corroded to the point that current passes straight through (least resistance = full tank).
Replacement is the cure.

I am new to boating and have been reading and learning from the forums here. I had the same issue with my 225 Explorer recently. I changed out the 5 amp breaker which is located directly above my switch. Cost me around $4 dollars to replace it. I also decided to change the bulbs out and placed in LEDs.

Thanks all for the advice, much appreciated! I am gonna mess with it again today. Did notice my sending unit has a fuel gauge display on the top of it. However it doesn't appear to work either. I will keep you posted.
