Wasn't sure which section to put this in so I guess this best.
My HOA requires my boat fit entirely under the 6' fence line. Non visible from the street or other lots. My first question would be to anyone with a 17' or 19'6, how tall is your boat on the trailer?
I was thinking about digging out about a 3' deep ramp to park the trailer tires in to drop the boat down. Has anyone done something like this? What concerns am I missing? My only concern is I'm in Florida and during rainy season I hit water at about 3'. Thoughts on dealing with that as well?
I'm also interested in any ideas to reinforce the front portion of the yard where I will be backing up the boat and truck. Again HOA doesn't allow me to rock in or pour a second driveway. I was thinking of digging out two ruts and filling them with sand and those diamond shaped pavers that allow grass to grow between them. Then laying new sod on top of the pavers. Giving it some support right below the grass.
Any ideas(or pictures if you've done it) on either of these would be very helpful.
Thanks.
