Custom Leaning Post
« on: May 31, 2016, 09:25:51 AM »
I came across this frame to an old leaning post. The fiberglass "seat" has been cut out, and all the old cushions have been removed. The owner said to make an offer, otherwise he will just bring it to the scrap yard.

Anyone have an idea what the value would be for the frame?
Do you think I'll be able to find replacement cushions or have to go the custom route?

Trying to figure out if I should just buy a brand new leaning post assembly, or try to repurpose this one...

Thanks,
Mike

If the frame is aluminum, figure about 0.45 per pound +/-.

100lbs = less than $50 and he doesn't pay for fuel to transport.

I doubt it weights anywhere near 100lbs. so go from there.

Good luck.
