Side curtain sliders

Has anyone found a rivet gun small enough to use on the side curtain sliders on an Explorer hardtop? It doesn't seem possible to install new rivets without lifting the top away from the rails. 

Several of the original rivets have popped out, and the previous owner replaced them with stainless screws.
