Do you know what the oem fuel tank material is?

My 2002 Osprey 205 is poly.  I would guess that yours is the same.  You should have an access plate over the sender and hose connections that would allow you to confirm.

Thanks CL I'm considering going to see one up for sale contingent on some things. One being no aluminum tank had a bad experience  Have you had good experience with yourAS.

I'm very happy with my 205.  I know a lot of people like aluminum tanks, but I'm more a fan of poly.  I' also have a poly tank in my flatback project.  Seems like there is less that can go wrong with poly.
