Radar on Explorer Hardtop

I am debating on how to mount a radome on a 250 Explorer hardtop. I am thinking about a 6" mount with a 4 degree tilt. I want to be sure I have clearance of antenna mounts, rocket launchers, and outriggers to be installed later.
I would like to hear from others about their installations. Is an extension mount overkill? Will a flush mount work?

I have a 225 explorer walk around hard top.. I had a garmin gmr18hd installed last year and it was installed using a 6" seaview mount. It's higher than rocket launcher, spot light and outrigger mounts.

Thanks, Kbray.
I have the Garmin 18 also. Do the holes for the seaview match the holes for the garmin? The cheapskate in me wants to try mounting it flush, and if it doesn't work out, install a mount later.
