Looking for info on late 98 osprey 200 model
« on: December 21, 2015, 10:02:50 PM »
Hey guys,  been a long time since I've posted but just wanted to let everyone know I just picked up a 1998 200 osprey model.  I'm not real familiar with the newer model boats, looking for more general info on them.  I found the owners manual for a 96-97 model via search on the resources page, but really found little else.  Doesn't really tell about constructions techniques, what the fuel tank material is, etc.

Any general info or brochures is appreciated.  I'll post pics when I get a chance.  Boat is clean and turn key.

From the 98 catalog.

Listed as "Composite Core" construction, not much into the actual build.

Thanks for the info, just what I was looking for.  Hadn't seen any of that info on the newer models.

I still have the project boat, have had it in storage since you guys last saw pics of it.  One of these days I'll start it back up.  At the moment life has gotten in the way and I just haven't had the time to complete it.  The new aquasport should work well until the classic is ready for its resurrection.  I'll never sell the old boat!

Last we heard you were doing cabinets and it was taking off.  Good to see you back.

Thanks.  I'll post up some pics as I get her cleaned up.  Needs a buff and wax and some other odds and ends. Hopefully be getting her wet this weekend.
