The temps dropped into the 40s here so I had to dust off the flue. We don't get to use the fireplace too often here so it was a nice event this morning.  Threw a fake log and some copper sulfate soaked pine cones in for some color.  Our new pup didn't know what to think about a fire.  Was not for warmth but more for ambiance.

A nice fire in the fire place is always great. got a fire place in my home in
Miami now, but it never gets cold enough to use it. When I move up to
the treasure coast in mid January we have a fire place there also. It will
get some use. My old jack Russell curls up by the fire place when we do
use it.
