Rubrail questions
« on: November 18, 2015, 08:24:52 PM »
It's time to start shopping for rubrail.  Been looking at the taco kits.  Not sure if I'm just going to do black with black insert or white with chrome insert.  My questions are the different styles rigid, semi rigid ect.  Another question is the size height wise and width.  Thanks for your help in advance.  Just don't want to order something and have it be wrong.

Thanks for that link.  Did you do the rigid?  How was it to install vs flexible.

Aaron, how was it to make the corners in the aft and the front of the boat?

What length screws is everyone using when installing there rubrail.  The rubrail I have says to use #8 and I'm just curious about length.  5/8 would probably be plenty of bite into the material I have to grab.  Just woundering what everyone else is doing.

That's what I will get then.  Thanks Aaron.  I bought the rubrail you posted so hoping to install this weekend if I get some free time.  Didn't order the insert yet.  Going to wait and measure when done because it's sold by the foot.  So wil try and order just what I need.  Thanks again will post pictures when complete
