In need of a wiring schematic for a 1996-196
« on: May 20, 2018, 12:02:46 PM »
Hello Everyone, this is my first post. I recently purchased a 1996-196 and I'm looking for a wiring schematic for the vessel. If you have any ideas or schematics that you'd like to share that would be awesome. Thank you in advance.

Welcome aboard John. There really isn't a lot of wiring on a 196.  You'll have the nav lights, the bilge and the engine wiring. Form the battery(s) to the helm you'll have a fused (or CB) + and a - to a terminal block in the console and then anything that needs it gets it from those.
We've been asked before for a schematic and if found, they are very generic.
We have owners manuals in the Resources forum - maybe that'll help you (they are pretty generic also)?
