I have a 1997 175 with a 2013 115 etech. I am turning a 13 x 17 SST prop. I am only getting 5000 RPM's and about 38 MPH. Fuel economy is great getting right at 4 miles to the gallon.
What size prop are you guys running on a similar set up?

With the Etec it is IMPERATIVE that you get the proper WOT RPMS. Even better if you get the optimum RPMS. Right now you are over propped and you are going to have a carbon build up and VERY hot exhaust issue. Here is a link to a RPM chart on the Etec owners group. I suggest you join that forum as well.
