I have a thru hull fitting on the bottom of my boat aft port side.  No clue what this is for. Is this an add on?

So it is on the hull bottom?  Is it a bronze clamshell?

If it is a clamshell or some other kind of water pickup, you probably have a baitwell somewhere.  Look in an access plate in the general area and you should see a seacock that allows you to close and open that thruhull.

Maybe you can add a signature in your profile that tells us the year and model of boat?

No not a clam shell.  I'll work on my sig. Thinking I got a 200 ccp, but no evidence of any wood.  So not really sure.
