Seastar hyd. steering hose length
« on: February 02, 2015, 11:12:15 AM »
:laugh03:I picked up a used Seastar front mount hydraulic steering setup for my 200ccp for cheap.  The hoses that came with it are old, stiff, scraped up and have hardware store compression fittings on both ends.  I'd like to replace these hoses with new ones for safety reasons.  I can only find premade hoses with crimped on fitting at both ends.  Does anybody know what length hoses I need to order?
Thanks, Sean

Depends on how your rigging is run.  If you have a trough in the sole, then figure 6' out the aft end of the trough to give you a nice loop into the cylinder, the length of the trough itself, then once inside the console, give yourself 4'...

Corner of 520 and A1A...
