Many of you were following my saga with the poured SeaCast transom on my boat.  I am being very careful in what and how I say what I am saying - just so you know.  According to the Volusia County Courts, the transom was installed correctly on my boat     .  Take a look at the photos and see if you agree but it doesn't matter what we think.  That is all I am going to say about that. . . .  

I am going to replace the transom, floor & stringers myself.  Can anyone share diagrams of stringer layout?  I am going to enclose the transom so any advice on that would be great too.  I am gathering a bunch of info right now and wont start the rebuild until the weather gets better.  I may start the tear-down when it's nice enough to play outside.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Paul, sorry it turned out as it did.

You'll want to save the outer skin on the transom if possible.

The flatback has an entirely different stringer system than the twelve degree 22-2. There are great flatback rebuilds here, some still in progress. Check Aaron's new build and Craig's fireboat build for starters.
