Pretty much announced it here on the board well over a year ago. A friend of a friend came along and paid the yard out for the storage in exchange for 50% ownership.

He moved it about 50 yards to the next storage yard, which a friend of his owned. Got the engines running. We struck a deal that the rest of the refurb would be on his dime. Which was basically the interior...salon, galley, and forward stateroom. He's in the boat repair/detailing biz, so that was a plus. And money-wise, less than 5K to get her done.

So I was pretty excited. He had a wetslip for it and everything. Make a great boat to spend a few days offshore on. Leave out of here, run 40 miles off, grouper fish. Then get up before dawn the next morning and go to the stream, catch the early morning yellowfin bite.

He hasn't touched it since.

Yeah, I remember this thread.  I was just wondering what happened with the partner because it sounded like everything was on go.  Maybe you need to get him to "touch it"

Scotty I am sorry to be a dink but a salon is where the whimmens go to get their hair and nails done... A SALOON is the above decks space, amply windowed where we will have a snort of Dickle while waiting for those yellowfin to hit..

Thanks guys, needless to say I'm disappointed.

One thing I've learned, especially in the last ten years..what people say and what they do are sometimes two different things. And that's putting it nicely

PS...gotcha Dave!! A SALOON!

I love saloons. Make me not shake so bad :shaking2:  :shaking2:  :shaking2:
