I know, this past Friday night we fished out of the AS, however we ran 25-30 miles out on Saturday and Sunday and we figured that we'd take the more infinitely capable rig, the Scout. The AS could have easily made the run, however, in some parts of the shoal-ey water, where it is all riled up and confused 2-4 footers, would have made for some pretty slow and wet going. The Scout with its Deep-V, trim tabs and extra weight, higher freeboard made much better work of cleaving the tough stuff.
I'm hoping I can get one day before the end of the season up here to get some good running shots of the 222.
