New plugs didn't solve the no start issue so I am going to have to go in there and look. That means the console has to come lose so I can see. I imagine (and hope) I'm going to find a plug partly dislodged or wire pulled lose from one right under there where it all comes together. I can see it all there, just can't reach it nor get my head in far enough to see things real good. Luckily it appears its four screws on each side and I can lay it over, leaving everything intact and get to the area really well then. Just have to break the bond of existing sealant and replace when done. And then hopefully it will be obvious with some careful examination. I guess I'll start on that in the morning. I want to do one more thing before I do that. I want to visually verify I have no spark at the motor. I have to have help for that. But I want to verify that for certain.
My fear of dislodging something when installing that Lowrance has come true. No way to really have prevented it I guess. Still can't understand what went wrong and why my step by step verification of functions lied to me. But... it is what it is I guess. Temped to pay someone to deal with it! Just don't know if there is anyone trustworthy in the area really.
Curse you Lowrance and your big ass plugs!!!!
