« on: August 21, 2014, 01:34:29 PM »
I don't remember this fella, but then again I am getting older and can't remember what we had for dinner last night.

Don't know what to do...perplexed.

BAD TRIP..(Chris Rhodes)

Good Morning

I'm sorry for this odd request because it might get to you too urgent but it's because of the situation of things right now..

I am presently stuck in Simferopol Ukraine right now: came here on vacation and Unfortunately i got robbed at the park of the hotel where we stayed. All cash and credit cards were stolen. Glad i still have my passport with me!!!

I've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and my flight leaves in few hrs from now but am having problem settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let me leave until i settle the bills...Its literally embarrassing and frustrating here, I need some money as I have nothing on me now,l was wondering if you could loan me(€2,560 euros), I'll reimburse you as soon as i arrive home. You can wire it to my name from any western union outlet around you. There's a Western Union money transfer service very close to me,Let me know if this is possible so i can email you the wiring details...

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,

Chris

Sounds fishy
#1 Who from the states would be vacationing in Ukraine now.
#2 Unless he's related to you and your the only family he has, how did he pick you out from the masses?

I don't remember to much myself, but if it's family it's a different ballgame.

I too am glad to see my name is getting out there, sure can't hurt  . This guy may be related somehow, just trying to figure it out....I don't think we have any relatives in Nigeria. I saw a bunch of them in Paris panhandling little plastic Chinese Eiffel Towers. We didn't look so much alike.

But this IS right up my alley as Farley says, never met a stranger as my wife says, and my heart goes out to this poor Rhodes fella. So seeing as how he's already in Ukraine, he may as well go ahead and see the sights....

I am sending him a one-way bus ticket to Donetsk.

I sent him $100,000 (Vietnamese Dong) I had left from my last "trip" down that way.

Trust it helps.
