The coffin costs $1500 in 1983, and the boat was $12,000 - built for the "blood and guts fisherman" - yep, that's about right!   :thumleft:

"Real" boats are measured at the waterline, so maybe it's an effort to help relate to those used to bigger boat specs.   :thumleft:   It's amazing to me how a 30 foot (waterline) boat becomes a 36 footer when you put an anchor pulpit on the bow and a swim platform on the stern...    :roll:
