LOL, No that is the coring on the coffin cover.  Someone recored but didn't cut access.

oh I thought it was the top of the tank covered in crap.  Wow so they just recored right over the pie plate?  Makes ya wonder how good of a job they did.

yup.  and considering that the deck plate probably is jut a tab deeper than the thickness of the whole cover, bet there is a gap.  is it soft again yet?  if you are trying to get to whatever is under there, might have to pull the cover and cut out the access.  then decide if it needs recored again.

He has a tank full of water.  I was trying to get to the sender to pump out but this is what I ran into.  Customer just wants a portable 12 gal tank now    Cover is soft and and there are a couple of soft spots in the floor.

I also have a 22-2 here that has 3 or 4 holes in the tank.  Customer bought from an auction, put 12 gals of fuel in it and it all ran out of the bilge.  Will have to recore the cover on it also.  Who ever recored it last time evidently ran out of plywood and only recored half the cover and just added some roving to the frint half

Yea I do, that's just the easy stuff LOL.  The 19 guy just wants to add a portable tank, but the 22-2 is getting new tank and recore.  He has a couple of soft spots too, but doesn't want to do anything with them now.  I have some pics pf the 2-2 also, just haven't had a chance to upload.
