Misfires are some scary :*:. I had it happen to me on a range shooting my old .270 Winchester burning up some old ammo. Loaded one in the chamber, click, nothing. My father always told me; count to 10 before you ever eject a misfire. Just stayed focused on the target and announced loudly "misfire"! SOB went off at the count of 7. That was 35 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday.
