Yeah, that explains this thread...

That is an interesting concept. But this thread is about human need....specifically, mine

I have to admit that I was asked to DVR this by my Admiral.

Now I just have to decide which angle to play, "Honey I have to work all weekend so I can't watch it..." or score points and a booty call like Scott.

Gary, Marc, in all reality, we do what we have to do to keep the Admiral happy.  While Maggie (thank God!) will never ask/beg/request/demand/say wouldn't it be nice, to sit down and watch "The Sound of Music", she will, out of the blue, when I had some other things planned, say...you know, we need to do some house cleaning...or something like that.  What that REALLY means is put down what I'm doing, and get my a$$ busy doing what SHE wants me to do!

Fortunately, she doesn't do that on Thursday night, all day Sunday, and Monday night...

Gary, much appreciated!

I tried golf, but never learned how to play. I'm left-handed as you can get, and never bought any-left handed clubs. They say a leftie can hit it good from the right side...but me, not so much.

Like to watch it though :thumright:

Sound of Music was pretty good - and they did it live!  I kept waiting for someone to botch a line, but it never happened.  Carrie Underwear will make a zillion bucks of the DVD and the reruns for the next 50 years.  But she did a great job.

They say business deals are consummated on the golf course. If were a golfer...would wish for a good putter for starters

Captain John, although the critics weren't kind on the acting.. she'll make a ton forthcoming.

Agree....it was a great show :thumright:
