If you use those numbers, a 2AWG will give you a 3.2 % drop. I'd say that's close enough. This was run on the GD calculator. 1Awg would equate to 2.6% so I'd say running 2AWG is just fine based on your numbers by using the calculator (both BS and GD calcs are the same, with BS using the complete circuit and GD using one way)

Kraw - how did it work out for you?  Did you measure the actual cranking amps when you used the 2Ga?  Can you do this? This info would finish this thread up.
