Faucet for a bulkhead
« on: May 11, 2013, 09:21:27 AM »
I am in the process of re-plumbing my bilge and adding a removable livewell. I already have a livewell pump with HS pickup and marelon cutoff installed. I am thinking of running the supply hose for the livewell up to some kind of faucet that clamps onto the starboard box and then connect the hose to it then run to the livewell. Any suggestions for the faucet?
I have found this and not sure of other choices. Thanks!

Here is another choice.

Second one is nice because you dont have to fool with a knob, and its a lower profile.

Lewis, I've done a couple of these from Jabsco.  They are slick...http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/st ... Y7KfKKi098

...but pricey!

Mine is old school Lew. It was inexpensive (I considered the trick one SB linked to) but with it under the gunnel, the handle is out of the way even when you're back there fishing. Jessie sent me the hose and nozzle and the rig fits the area well with the turn down bib. I open and close it whenever I get in the boat (say to hookup the charger) to keep it free turning (same with the seacock). Location is your biggest driver but if you're like me, so is cost.

Good luck.
