prob a tough job if you don't know where to start or haven't done it or watched someone do it before. If your good mechanically, removing the old unit should give you some picture of how a new one should go back on, but not necessarily the correct order in which things should be re-installed. A shop manual would certainly help if your good with them. Honestly i've tried a few things w/ a shop manual and botched them, not too bad but had to call someone else to pick up where i left off. I found that un less you are used to reading schematics and the 3 dimensional diagrams that accompany them as a career or on a regular basis, u can miss critical steps. Good luck
