New Trailer Tires
« on: May 16, 2013, 07:19:57 PM »
I am doing some work on my trailer and checked the date codes on the tires. They were 2002,2003,2005 and 2007, so I decided to spring for new ones. Found a guy on Craigslist selling new 205/75/14 tires on new hot dipped rims for $80.00.  Thought that maybe they were new, but old stock tires. Went to check them out and the tires were made 9th month of 2013. Heck that only 2 1/2 months ago. Can't get much newer than that.
Anyway I came home with 4 new ones. He has a bunch more as he said he buys them by the pallet and resells them.

that's a good deal based on what I paid - $96 pre-tax.
