weight of a 170 Striper.
« on: March 04, 2013, 07:19:37 PM »
Does anybody have an idea the weight of a 1987 170 Striper - hull, motor, gear and trailer? Has anyone ever weighed their trailer with boat on - 170. What weight have you gotten if you have done so? Also, my floor is divinycell and my transom is seacast. About how lighter would that made the boat I removed all the wood from the floor and transom. Hope to hear from y'all soon.

I have an 1987 Striper. I weighed the trailer a while back I just need to go back to the scales soon to see what the loaded weight is. Then I'll know the exact weight of the boat.

Dry hull weight is around 1200 lbs., motor should be around 400, add another 500 for gas/rigging.  Trailer weight is a big difference in steel vs. aluminum and single axle vs dual axle...

weighed it today and it came in at 2000 lbs without fuel and motor installed. looking at another 525 lbs with that. I didn't think the aquasport would be so heavy.
