Anyone purchased a lower unit form sterndrive engineering? Please share your experience. Need a new lower unit and thinking of buying one...

Yes, bought one 2 years ago. Nothing but a great experience. Great warranty. The shop I bought them trough says the only ones they had ever had return where due to operator error, but SEI replaced them no questions.
