Amazing transformation, I saw that hull before the rebuild up close so I know how much was involved
Enjoy your ride

Thanks Capt. Matt for the help in securing this boat. This boat came together as a result of introductions from this board. Greg was introduced to Shipoke via Gran398 in North Cackalacky. Capt. Matt knew the fellow in Pine Island who sold the hull to Greg, and facilitated the payment and delivery the boat prior to restoration. Thanks to both Scott and Matt for all your help in making this restoration happen.

Very nice, I especially love the intergrated livewell into the transom!  Comparitively this rebuild to the shop in Tampa that did mine it appears that Eugene and his crew are definately more experienced and capable to handle a quality rebuild more then that shop!!   :thumleft: ....and we all know which shop I'm talking about

Yeah, definitely want to thank Scott and Matt for helping facilitate this project. I am very pleased with the way things worked out and couldn't have done this but for the members here.

I have been through this thread before and found it again today with the help from Gran.

I am having some serious delam issues with the build on my Proline that I just completed last year.
After reading the thread again and reviewing the pictures I am even more confident that my Proline will be repaired properly and stay together now that it is in Eugen of Shipoke Custom Boatworks hands.

As of this time Eugene has been nothing less that professional in the way he has dealt with my issues. He has gone above and beyond.
When its all said and done I will give a full report with details so maybe I can save someone else the heartache of what I am going through.

BTW beautiful build!

Great looking boat you have there. Everything custom looks like it came from the factory or even better.

I am in the middle of boxing in my transom and want to do something simular to your boat and could use some info.

I have a couple questions maybe you could help me with.

I see that you had some lockers installed on either sides of the console for storage. Are they water tight from the deck? If not where does the water go when entering though these boxes?

I love the livewell built into the transom. Did the rebuilder make the livewell then box in the transom around it? Did he make the livewell or did he buy it and if so from where?

Your boat looks awesome!!! I just purchased a 1976 22.2 that will get overhauled. What are the dimensions of your console. Looks perfect. also, can you send me Eugene's contact info.

Fishinonthebrain,

The hatches drain into the bilge. Despite what folks say about "watertight" hatches in floors, I've yet to see one that actually is watertight in practice. The integrated transom livewell starts from the leaning post livewells that we make. We cut the livewell down, glass it in, and fair it in. Feel free to give me a call if you have questions and I'm happy to walk you through the process in more detail.

Regards,

Eugene
