PVC Pipes
« on: May 14, 2006, 11:32:43 AM »
When I open the inspection plate on the deck in the stern of my 22-2, I have two (2) PVC Pipes coming down from the Port and Starboard side. They are on a slant from the left and right and dump into the bilge, :? I would like to know their function. Any help will be appreciated. Peter

I think they allow water to drain from above the stringers into the bilge.

Drainage lines.  Be sure they are open.  Mine had broken off chunks of foam wedged in them.
