1974 19-6 rod holders needed
« on: February 25, 2013, 07:47:47 PM »
Talking about the under gunnel ones. She came to me without these and i would like to replace them to help with my gunnel and of course store the rods. I'm looking to either buy them or build them if someone knows the dimensions. Projects on my mind even though the slips are outta the water and replaced by 12" of intertidal ice. We're have a strong winter this year in Maine.

They started out as 3/4" teak. I replaced one of mine on the 222 but it might be a little big. I could make a pattern out of the old one to give you an idea of general shape. I really think when they installed them they had one guy that custom fit each to the hullsides and gunnel shape. All of mine were slightly different. Let me know if this would help.
