Question about drain on 1995 225 Explorer

I'm wondering how the fitting managed to get broken in the first place!  I'm betting they connected the hose to the box drain at the factory before they put the cap on.  Then they connect it to the thru hull fitting thru the pie plate at the aft end of the walk around.

I was wondering the same myself, and Bruce I think your right, but on mine it would be possible to get to it from the forward pie in the floor if you could connect the hose and put on the clamps with one hand   oh and get around the gas tank

I don't think I can reach the drains by going thru the forward pie over the fuel tank. I think the stringer is in the way.  Butof course I've never tried.

I had my arm in mine once when I rewired my fuel sender to the dash, not very fond memories of it.
