86 222ccp rebuilt

Hey guys im new to the site. I recently acquired a 222 ccp boat that I am going to transform into a clam boat to work on next season. I have a few questions to start the many future questions. First off i noticed that the deck drains end up draining below the water line is this normal? The drains are the perko ones with the ball installed inside. My other question is what would u recommend using to fill in the gaps cuased by a saw blade ? The man who gave me the boat cut out the splash well and i want to glass it back in

I would leave the splashwell out of your CCP if it has already been removed.  You will gain much needed cockpit space behind the console.  Some pictures might help of your splashwell area.
