Title: 1994 Aquasport 250 explorer fuel tanks and switch positions
Post by: kb2ski on November 08, 2012, 02:43:19 PM
A couple of easy questions for some of you that built these boats.  In this boat, is the tank level float switch (aft tank) for the Aux tank or the Main tank?  Also, I cannot quite figure on the console far right three-way swich for fuel guage. Is up position the  Aux fuel level and down position the Main fuel level?

I may have it reversed but don't have a ohm meter to figure this out.

Thanks.

KB,
You'll need a meter to make sure.  Not too many folks on here have auxiliary tanks, so basically you have a 50/50 shot at being right...or wrong!

And what is this "float level" switch that you speak of?  I mean, I know the fuel level switch using one gauge to read 2 tanks, but float level switch?

KB - you need to get a meter!  You can get a good AC/DC meter pretty inexpensively these days - get one that does DC amps - something like this:
