Title: trim tabs on a 96 Osprey 225????
Post by: Jolly man on September 20, 2012, 03:37:00 PM: Does anyone know if they are Bennett or Lenco or something else? One of my acuators is bad I think. (this is a complete guess) It won't move although I hear motor running when I try my starboard trim tab? They have been painted over with bottom paint and I don't know where to start......I believe it is leaking hydraulic fluid because there was a half used containter of hydraulic fluid under seat...didn't know if you can buy a rebuild kit or purchase a new one. Any help would be appreciated.

Hydraulic. A guess would be Bennett.
Got fluid in the pump reservoir? Probably so if the port tab functions.
Line/fitting damage ie see fluid in bilge/on deck.
Actuator damaged. :scratch:

This looks like a job for "TABMAN".
