Title: Low horsepower on old proline 20
Post by: dans1018 on April 22, 2012, 09:47:03 AM
Hey guys, gonna rig up an old proline 20. I will be using it as a tower/spotter boat for pre fishing tourneys. What is the smallest horsepower that will run this boat reasonably. Just lookin to go slow with low fuel burn numbers. Just needs to get on plane well in shallow water. Will a 90 push this boat?

Save fuel?  Put a diesel under the console and go inboard or I/O:
