Guys, picked up this motor a few weeks back. Everything ran, but it is now hanging in the shop. The controls are off and not hooked up to fuel/ oil/ battery/ etc.
The motor will be this way until next summer. With the motor in it's current state, what is the best way to winterize it without hooking everything back up?
Drain the Carb bowls? Spray fogging spray directly into the cylinders?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated?

Yes.
and manually crank the motor after fogging.
Your manual should provide detailed instructions on what to do for your particular motor.

A manual eh???
I guess I should get one of them, eh?

What is this" Winterization" word you speak of?

It's what us Idiots who live in the north do when it's too cold to fish. We generally pretend to enjoy the "Seasons" and pretend to enjoy Skiing.
I like seasons, that why I want to move to a place that skips all the shitty ones.

My pops lives in Jupiter...he complains about it dropping into the 60's. "That's great dad, I just dug my f&cking car out of a 5 foot snow pile. I hope you get a sunburn you d*ck."

yup, that was funny

Yep, even way up north here in Lower Alabama winterization just means putting a tarp over the boat to keep the leaves out. My boat shed is just a roof and the boat is a damn leaf magnet.

Guys,
I have so much work to do on this boat, and it's almost all fiberglass. I have the console and deck hatches in my garage, where they are being worked on, but everything else...........in the shop, where it is currently 42 degrees. Too cold for glass, putty, anything besides sanding. I've been just hunting on the interwebs and stockpiling parts and dreaming up cool things to do to the boat.
