Hi Guys, just now got the clearance for the ideal dates for the next gathering, weather and temp-wise. This is the usual time we do it each year here anyway.
I'm open for any of the dates - I did choose 12Nov though to make it easier for more members - again, any of the days is fine with me.
We'll do it one last time in the place we used last time - worked out nicely. Very nice place. <!-- s8) -->8)<!-- s8) -->
The primary gathering spot will be the small island just outside the old train tressel (sp), beside the larger island, which is secondary gathering spot in case it whips up.

There are 2 ramps on the right just after you turn onto the Boca Grande Causeway and before the toll bridge. Both are decent - if I tow down I will use Eldreds because my vehicle will be safe for the couple days I'm there.
Dave (maybe) and I will be down there on the friday before and camp out on our boats - so if anyone wants to join us we'll need to exchange cell #s so we can link up because we may not camp at the island.
Be there or be square <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: --> <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: -->

The weekend of the 12th works better for me,wouldn't be able to make the next Friday,That's my wife's Birthday.
Rick i put a link in Discussion :thumright:

Will be running up Pine island sound to say hey to everyone on either date.

I was looking forward to the next gathering so that I could get aquianted but unfortunately neither of those two weekends fit into my current schedule.
-
I hate to miss it, but I'll be in N.C. Oct. 20m thru Nov 6. Have fun!!

Rick,
Any consideration for Veteran's day weekend Nov. 11-13?
-
Hey Guys:
Being from Ohio, where it's getting a bit nipply already, I'd love to join you but can't afford to break away until April. That said, the wife, our 11 year old son and I will be RIGHT THERE in April on our annual Spring Break trip when we officially launch the ('72?) 170 I've been working on for more than a year. We've boated in the Pine Island area before, and camped at nearby Cayo Costa State Park for a fee, but didn't realize the were boat-accessible islands around there that you can camp on for free? We've also looking for a place to launch and then store our tow vehicle for the first week of April while we stay on North Captiva. Is that one secure place you mentioned a good one for that, and close to North Captiva? Any other sites, fishing spots we should go to?
I'll be thinking of you guys later this month...

Veteran's wknd may be good for me also, but if no change is made I may still be able to make it down for a short visit.
-
You know, Veterans day weekend would be ok for me too.
Things to consider in Boca Grande is the farther we get into Nov the windier it'll get, the colder it'll be (maybe) and we'd be on the edge of the water being a little nipply for us southern boyz. The northerly winds are the biggest thing though.
It might be a tough weekend for crowds too? Not everyone gets off on Vets day though.
Hey, whatever it takes to get more people out there. Marc I take it your BBQ is Vets day weekend? Sorry that might screw up your availability.
I'll redo the poll - everyone please revote.
-
Daniel123
send me a PM if you want some info about my back yard
Capt Matt

29, 29, 29, 29..... Only weekend open for me....

Don't forget to re-vote if you haven't already done so.

Anyone hear from Glockdiver yet ?

It's a tie, might have to get the Lawyers involved, some hanging chads going on
-
Yeah, seems something fishy is going on here - most seemed to want the 12th, now .... I smell a northern vote or two.
I'd rather have an honest vote so we know how many are coming - if the votes are artificially inflated, a date is selected artificially and only one boat shows up - that would not be too fun. If they're real FL members voting and it ends up being a different date I'm ok with it.
Let's get a count here - let me know who voted for what:
I voted 12Nov
-
Nov. 12th :salut:

I voted 12th... Do both dates , make everybody happy!

The initial suggestion of course was in jest. No votes outside of Florida, rest assured from here.

-
yup
Which date did you vote for Doc?
-
I voted for 29th but would like to change to 12th because of doctors apt. on 2nd in Charleston. Looks like good weather predicted for this weekend in Charleston.
-
yup
Which date did you vote for Doc?
29 Oct, but I'm flexible.

I voted for the 29th
Any weekend will work for me though
Capt Matt

Sounds like the 12th might be the day, can't wait :D
Capt Matt do you have any ideas for Grouper or Snapper in the pass, thanks.
-
I'm here, I'm here! :)
Me and my Hooters girlfriend both voted for Nov. 12!
Sorry I've been scarce lately, lots going on, but I'm looking forward to seeing you guys in November! How many are camping out for the night?
-
Wait, I just saw that Marc is available on the 29th, maybe I want to change my vote!
Man, if we get a panhandler down here for our Gathering, that's saying something! :thumright:
-
Mike i'm glad you're gonna make it,wouldn't be the same without you :salut:

"I smell a northern vote or two."
Hope everyone is accounted for, and there are no false/non-participatory votes.

Yep, looks like I need to apologize for that comment - Sorry
-
There have been lots of big bull reds in the pass around the docks, the hard thing is keeping them away from the jewfish. You can always catch grouper drifting the pass with live pinfish on the bottom.
The best action has been just outside the pass with Kings, Spanish and Bonita either running and gunning the blitz or trolling.
See you all there

I have an '89 175 purchased last year and live close to Boca Grande. There is a reference to the "usual place" for the gathering. Where is that? Fred

Hi Fred,
Look at the first post in thread - page 1, there is a map.
-
Thanks for the replies. Looked at the map again and it has more information than I saw the first time. Now if I can just get more votes for Nov. 5. Fred

Not to be a spoil sport but:
Southwest Region: The bloom of Karenia brevis, the Florida red tide organism, first detected more than two weeks ago alongshore of Sarasota County, is currently located alongshore and offshore of Charlotte and Lee counties. Samples collected in the Pine Island and Charlotte Harbor Sound systems and alongshore of Charlotte and Lee counties range from not present to medium concentrations of K. brevis, whereas samples collected offshore show concentrations ranging from low to high. The highest concentrations were detected in samples collected within the bloom patch approximately 9 to 14 miles west of Boca Grande Pass (Lee County) on October 11. Widespread fish kills both alongshore and offshore have been reported in association with this bloom, with the most recent reported today (October 14) from the Englewood area (Charlotte County) and alongshore and offshore of Boca Grande (Lee County).
Karenia brevis was not detected in samples collected this week from alongshore of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota and Collier counties or alongshore and offshore of the Florida Keys (Monroe County).

Been 5 years or so since we had any,i guess you can't keep it away forever,we can always escape to the back country if we have to.
-
Yeah, that last time if the wind was coming off the water I could barely stand to run from the house to the truck. My throat would start closing up. It could move on south or go offshore.
-
2 miles west from Boca Grande yesturday on a NW wind and ran to redfish pass without a single dead fish sighted. Keep your fingers crossed for any kind of east winds.
Capt Matt
-
Well that's some good news, maybe this big front next week will disperse it a little too.
-
So do we have a finalized date?? Let's hope for some good weather!
I was out today on a friends boat. We had planned to go dive /spearfish Edison Reef, about 12 miles offshore. Forecast was 2' seas.
We're on the way out there, and it is just getting sloppier and sloppier! I mean, 3-5's, with plenty of 4's and 5's. We finally get to the dive site, and theres one boat anchored there, bobbing UP and DOWN with the swells. Don't know how they were holding on.
So we decide it's too rough and would be unsafe trying to reboard the boat from the water, so we turn back and head for home, getting absolutely POUNDED and SOAKED on the way back in!
Hate it when the weather guy lies!

They get paid good money to be right half the time...I could throw a dart and be more accurate...

Well boys, the gathering in Charleston was a great success. Hope to see you all Nov 12. We have to put our game faces on if we are to keep up and outdo those GA and Carolina boys. They know how to have a good time.
-
Judging by the pictures they sure do
-
Based on the poll and people that said they could make it on the 12th but voted for the 29th, it looks like we may break the record # of boats attending a Fl gathering of 9 - maybe we'll have 11  .

-
So will it be the 29th or the 12th?
Capt Matt
-
Poll will end on the 20th - looks to be the 12th. Hope the Red tide holds off - seems it's affecting me right now up here with all the W-SW wind.
Doc - got the camera all tuned up?
Hopefully the weather will be super - no super storm like last time - hey, we survived no problem.
Dave has his boat ready to rock finally - virtually new 200 Mercs on the back (everything replaced so far). I'm starting to save for the "big fill up" - I think I have about a 1/4 tank of the 140 right now

I'm with you on the weather, no need to separate the men from the boys this year :D
Glad to hear Dave has the boat ready  hopefully he won't have anymore problems for a long time.
I'm about the same with fuel, Don't look forward to the fill up :pale:
-
Yeah - I really only need a qt to get from Eldreds to the gathering point :D
This should be A LOT OF FUN.
-
I don't plan on topping mine off, hoping Santa gets me a fuel flow meter this year then i will fill it up
-
I'll top mine off - just to be topped off. I spent all the fuel on the Okeechobee run.
Better to have a bunch and only have to add a little to top off.
Come on Nov 12th :!: :!: This is going to be fun - we'll be down there on the 11th to stay the night on our boats. If anyone wants to sleep on my boat let me know - full cover and full eisenglass wrap if necessary. Just bring a sleeping bag - air mattress would be smart too.
-
Hey CH - what is Max's price of rec fuel now?
-
The 12 th is going to take forever to get here now :bounce:
Last week it was 3.69, not sure now.
-
I may be there if I buy the 222 I've been eyeballing... :thumleft:
-
hi guys!
I will be there in my 222 cuddy.
i have been a lerker for years now.
I have a 72 222 i have been working on the transom.

-
Whoa - sounds like we could really blow away the record
It'll be a nice time with good people - last time in Boca Grande for a gathering for a few years, come on out
-
Money pit, Jim, welcome aboard, hope you guy's can make it, let's all close out the Boca Gatherings with a big turn out and lot's of fun :salut:
-
The rain of the last few days was about the best thing that could happen for the red tide. Ride tide floats on top and the rain breaks it up. Keep your fingers crossed we are red tide free.
White Pelican's and sheephead today, winter is just about here
Capt Matt

Come on 7:35 time to stick a fork in this poll :D
It should do it all by it's lonesome.
The 12th it is
So for us lucky puppies that have Veterans day off it might be worth going down the night before. Might have to take that day off
-
A three nighter, i like that idea.
-
Yup, I'll really have to fill the coolers :D
I need a break for sure and I can't think of a better way to get one - fish during the day, hang in the late afternoon through .....
I'm ready
What we need to find is a close motel or something that is reasonable for the non-explorer/FF/XF models to stay a few days. Any ideas?
-
Have heard good things about this place http://grovecitymotel.com/ (http://grovecitymotel.com/)
-
http://www.theinnlet.com/ (http://www.theinnlet.com/)

Both places look good.

Hopefully the 12th will be one of those in between weekends for the cold fronts, it's a little on the chilly side this morning.
-
Chilly it is for sure.
-
I may be there if I buy the 222 I've been eyeballing... :thumleft:
Um, what if I showed up in a Bayliner  ...would I be treated like a redheaded stepchild? I may not have an Aquasport by then...the way it's looking.

I think we could let you in this time, you might have to anchor off away from us and swim over
Seriously come if you can, gonna be about the closest thing to a AS showroom you will find and you are a member after all :thumright:

Put in for Nov 10th off today. Come on 10th

I totally understand. If I owned a gorgous Aquasport like some I've seen on here, I certainly wouldn't want some loser in an old Bayliner ( :pukel: ) getting too close to me either. I've lurked on here quite a while and really admire the old '73 - '79 22-2's. I was determined to get one....real soon. As luck would have it, I stumbled across a deal of a lifetime on a new boat during the last couple of days. I hope to pick it up this Saturday. It's not an Aquasport unfortunately...but it's Waaaay better than the Bayliner! :thumleft: :thumright:
Thanks for the warm welcome and I hope to see you folks there.
-
Money Pit Jim,
Welcome ( me, of three months welcoming...jeez  ) and I sure hope you get to attend the gathering... I'm way too far away and can only enjoy through the photos of you folks that post photos. So I hope you get to roll in there with your new acquisition.
Which leads me to two questions: 1) What is the great deal you are about to pounce on? I am all curiosity... and 2) do you get affected by red tide in your part of FL? I'm asking, in that I am considering possible retirement locations and I need to learn more about red tide, and what locals are impacted. I don't seem to remember it occurring along the Space Coast where I raised from a young'un.
Thanks, and drink a beer or 3 for me if you attend the hootenanny. Trace
-
Trace,
As a kid, I had the benefit (growing up in Chicago) of one set of grandparents retiring to Sarasota, the other set to Lauderdale. East and west coasts. Plus living in O-Town for quite a while after I moved down here. Never did I see red tide on the Atlantic side, experienced it (you have to experience it) many, many times on the gulf side.
The 2 bodies of water are vastly different, the natural dynamics of the Atlantic Ocean, IMO, preclude the development of the algae blooms that precipitate red tide. In comparison to each other, the gulf is a much more stagnent, much warmer, much more conducive breeding ground for bioorganisms such as red tide. Kinda like a really big petri dish, with the right conditions for chit to grow in...
I mean, we have oxygen depleted zones in the gulf, yet the Atlantic doesn't...there's a reason...
-
2 weeks to go :bounce:
-
Here's why Nov 12 isn't good for me, but maybe I'll stop in late saturday or sunday if any of you are still around?

Looks good.... Maybe we should move the gathering up there
Seriously, we'll be there Friday to Sunday morning just like every gathering - have fun, we'll see you when you get there. The island is waiting for you.
You entering the castnet competition?

I bought this.....2011 22' Angler Grande Bay. Yes we get the red tide on the Gulf Coast as said above. There's good and bad about the East and West FL coast....ya have to pick your poison. Yea you're pretty far away being in California!

Nice looking ride :salut:
Actually we don't care what kind of boat you own, you're a member here so you're welcome to come out to the gathering.
-
Very nice Money, make sure you come, i would love to see the new boat, i had an Angler before my AS, was a good boat :salut:
-
Thanks guys, we plan on being there and I'm bringin' friends! I can't wait to see some of your rides.
-
Sounds good money :thumright:
-
As of now the weather is looking good for next week and my neighbor said no red tide in Boca
-
That's great news - seems the usual fronts are dropping through now and winds are out of some N direction.

my good fishin buddy has the identical boat but the 20 grande bay without a t-top... his only complaints so-far is, draft isnt so great, 14-16 inches, and bilge access isnt the best.
-
One week to go Guys
-
Red tide is gone too. You guys have fun.
-
Great!!! - dust off the camping gear, the time of year is almost here (a poet but don't know it).

Keep you fingers crossed this wind finally quits, been blowing 20+ for what seems like days now.

Nice. CH, I ate breakfast with Dave today and he's ready - his boat's solid. Are you still open to head down Thursday?
What's the gas price at Max's?
-
I may have to work Thursday, I should know by Tuesday.
Not sure what Max is getting, the last time is was by there it was 3.64 but that was almost two weeks ago.
-
You're the "little money machine in the corner" so do what you gotta do bud. I'm waiting on Dave's decision too - he has a couple day job that the customer might expand so we'll see. Just putting it out there for consideration.
-
I wish i was a money machine, just trying to make up or catch up from a bad summer.
-
That's an old saying when you are thinking of getting life insurance - you're the little money making machine in the corner that needs to be insured.
-
Rick i went by Max today 3.59 a gallon.
-
That was the cash price, right?
-
That was the cash price, right?
Yes, ad 10 cents for credit.
I put 43 gallons in the boat and that only brouhgt me to half a tank  Wow was i low.
-
oh boy.... here it comes.
-
How low on gas are you now ?
Looks like it's going to be a little chilly at night, upper 50's to 60 and a 15 knot wind, might have to stuff Josh in the cabin this time.
-
I'm not sure - but I would guess I'm down to a 1/4 or there about.
The temps show it'll be beautiful during the day - gotta break out the sweats at night. Guess I can leave the AC at home :D
Bet we won't be swimming this time.

One more day for me - YEAH

Are you all going to be up there Sat and Sunday? I have a sat morning charter and was debating if I ride up Sat Afternoon or Sunday Morning.
Capt Matt
-

Did Dave figure out when he's going ?
As of now i'm coming down Fri morning, i could make it Thur but it would be real late and since it gets dark so early now i'm just going to wait.

Josh, Scott,
Was off of Higel where it goes straight after Ocean. PITA!! Backed into the drive, the boat ready to go, hitch ball 2" higher than the coupler, jacked all the way up. Here's the rig back at my house out by the shop...
But she got home. Actually, that 3/4 ton had no clue that little Ranger was behind it. 75 MPH all the way from Bee Ridge to SR 52.
Where are you guys at off Tamiami? I may be pulling her back when I'm done, as I have the use of the truck when I need it (just pay for fuel), and the Ranger owner is usually in NC...
Love to stop by and see you guys...
-
Looks like I'm not going to make it down from SC. Things have a way of popping up and keeping you from doing what you want sometimes. Wish we could be there, so have fun. Will think about you guys. Hope the weather is nice. Doc take some pics of all the festivities .
-
Bob i'm off Bee Ridge, by Philippie Creek, sure you pasted right by me, just let me know, it would be great to see ya.
John sorry to hear you can't make it, hope all is well and you can come next time.

Calling for 47 tomorrow night, mix in the wind BURR http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... 21.1.99999 (http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=zmw:33921.1.99999)

Scott,
I'm sure I did! Believe it or not, I remember when Bee Ridge was a 2 lane road...
Maggie grew up in your same area. If I have to drag the Ranger back down to Siesta, you'll get a call... :thumleft:
-
I remember it as two lanes and also no 75, we got popped by the cops for shooting guns out there when they just started building it.
If i'm up your way i will be calling you also :salut:

Scott,
Go to Weeki Wachee Springs. This time of the year, it's dead...and the water is chilly...and the mermaids are still swimming...get my drift?
-
Oh ya i get ya
-
It'll be a beautiful day when we get to the ramp tomorrow about noon. Then we'll be heading out with the breeze and heading toward Sanibel to explore for the rest of the day. Then we'll decide where we camp for Friday night. We'll be at the designated islands early for the gathering
-
Man, I tell you guys, it's been a long time since I was out on Siesta...or on Tamiami. I first started visiting Sarasota in 1966, always loved it...and for you Josh, I bet old Sarasota High still looks the same...
But, DAMN, the Ringling Causeway bridge has grown!!!
-
Sarasota HS was marked for demo and now has been saved and earmarked for resto and occupancy by Ringling School of Art (I think).
You're right - things have changed - the Ringling bridge is huge.
-
Rick that's correct, Bob they tore down the old middle school and rebuilt the high school there, that new bridge is pretty but i hate heights so i don't like it much.

So the Skyway is kinda, like, out of the picture? Remember the old Skyway? Before it was 2 spans?
-
Last time over the Sky Way i thought i was having a heart attack , so no i don't go over that thing anymore.
I remember the old span, my dad went over it an hour before it fell.

But do you remember the old bridge when there was just one span? 2 way traffic...
Windy days were a lot of fun...

The present bridge replaces a steel cantilever bridge of the same name. The original two-lane bridge built by the Virginia Bridge Company was completed in 1954, with a similar structure built parallel and to the west of it in 1969 to make it a four-lane bridge and bring it to Interstate standards. Opening of the newer span was delayed until 1971 for reinforcing of the south main pier, which had cracked due to insufficient supporting pile depth.[7] The second span was used for all southbound traffic, while the original span was converted to carry northbound traffic.
(Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunshine_Skyway_Bridge)
I don't remember the single bridge either. I'm sure I travelled over it when I was a kid. I do, however, remember the single bridge after the Summit Venture hit the bridge.
The southbound span (opened in 1971) of the original bridge was destroyed at 7:30 a.m. on May 9, 1980, when the freighter MV Summit Venture collided with a pier (support column) during a storm, sending over 1200 feet (366m) of the bridge plummeting into Tampa Bay. The collision caused ten cars and a Greyhound bus to fall 150 feet into the water (46 m), killing 35 people
Ok, getting ready to head out. Have to power through this wind (and cold) today for a beautiful day tomorrow.
Don't forget your hoody!!
-
See you guys tomorrow afternoon, be heading up after my morning trip. The wind finally started to lay down
Capt Matt

...and now it's going to get nippy!
A little more on the "Old" Skyway...if we were coming across the bay in the afternoon, when there was just the single span, and a t/storm came in, well, let's just say it wasn't fun! But my Dad was an ex-fighter pilot, really didn't seem to bother him.
Was living in Orlando many years later, decided to take a 4-day weekend in Sarasota. The bridge had just been knocked down. Headed up the east span, all looked normal except for no traffic on the west span. Got to the top, looked over...and the west span just...stopped. About 163 ft above the water...
Never forget that.
You boys have a great time this weekend, peppermint schnapps might be in order, but most of all, stay safe, enjoy each other's company, and catch some edibles, if possible!!!
-
Well I guess I'll show my age and tell you guys that I remember riding the ferry from St. pete to Bradenton before the first skyway was built. Was pretty young, but my dad was notorious for Sunday rides all over the state. We lived in St. Pete but traveled the state fishing or hunting or just exploring almost every weekend in a 1949 Olds 98.
Then as a 14 year old kid my dad would let me take our old Thompson 18 lapstrake all over Boca Ciega bay with buddies from school during the summer. We ran from Pass a grille to Mullet key without telling anybody and spent the night among mosquitos, rattlesnakes and thieving raccoons. We got away with it by telling all the parents that we were spending the night at somebody's house. Then we did it pretty often during the summers after that. Lotsa good memories..
-
Any of you boys holdin' a smart phone...your cousins are wishing you all the best this evening :thumright:

Never fails when I make plans something changes or breaks. Found out Sat during my morning charter my steering is hooked up wrong. Two clients where riding on the transom cap and it must have put a lot of pressure on the steering system. The upper helm sprayed hydro fluid everywhere. After cleaning up the huge mess we limped around for the last hour finishing up the trip.
After reading the install instructions when I got home it turns out the steering is installed wrong It is a Uflex system and was rigged like a teleflex dual station station. The system is marketed as a bolt in replacement for the teleflex system so I never read the directions in my haste. I have never seen a dual helm that needed a vent plug on the main helm and a extra line between the two stations but I guess that is why they send directions. I must have got real lucky as I ran 120 hrs with no problems till Sat. It could have been a really bad mistake on my part.
After pulling the boat I just did not feel safe running 30 miles north to the gathering with my scary steering situation. Will get the parts on Monday and scramble to fix it before my Tuesday trip.
It just really sux as I wanted to meet everyone and thank you personally with your help on my rebuild.
Hope you all had a great time and i will catch you next time.
Capt Matt

Made it back safe after some cold windy nights, but Saturday the weather was great, definitely not a reason for everybody that didn't show up (Capt Matt you have a good reason) but the rest  anyway the diehards came as always, and now some pics.
Me and Josh just got back from Cayo Casta State Park and found Rick and Dave Taking it easy.

We got there on Friday and headed out toward the pass - contacted CH and found he was already on the water and heading our way so we hung out in the pass and waited on him to catch up. CH & Josh headed out to do some fishing and Dave and I took off towards Captive to do what the boats are named for - Exploring. It was pretty windy out there for sure so the biggest priority was to find a place to duck and hide and we found a beautiful little cove that was deep and perfect to shelter us. The Friday night gig was on.
We guided CH into the cove and that was it for the night - sitting back chilling with some friends.
Saturday turned out very nice. Started out real windy but started to lay down once the sun got high in the sky. On the way back in from Cayo Costa Dave ran out of gas (his guage stopped working a couple weeks ago  ) and luckily he ran out close to a marina so I towed him over - $5.17 / gal
We had to relocate the gathering - a family was camping on our first island and the water around the plan B island was shallow so we decided to move to a place that Doc could get into - he's having problems with a trim motor - so we shifted west about a 1/4 mile. Waited with much anticipation for people to be hailing us on the vhf - but nothing..... :( Money pit stumbled onto us in his sweet new shiny boat - says it still smells new.
So the 12 or so boats we thought were coming ended up being just the 4 diehards  Oh well. Cetainly not the first time and won't be the last.
Doc hung out with us until around 5 and he split to beat the dark on his 1.75 hour run home. We stayed the night in the new gathering place, cooked some scrumptous ribs, chilled out again - weather was warming. We packed up Sunday morning and mosey'd on home around 9.
I'll post some pics a little later today.

Fellas,
Many apologies for missing what would have been my 3rd Aquasport gathering! I had grand plans to get up early Saturday morning, launch the 225 from Punta Rassa, and cruise up Pine Island Sound in DOC's wake.
And then Friday happened. My neighbors (3 single guys) decided to throw a "Tacky Sweater" party between their house and mine. Had about 20 people come through, several ladies! And most of them supported the theme and wore their tackiest holiday sweater. Long story made short, many Corona's later... :pukel:
And then passed out on my sofa, about 1:30am, allowing my hilarious neighbors to photograph!

Needless to say, Saturday morning was a B****! But it looks like you guys had a good time, and I will catch you at the next one!

Aaron, coming up the Veterans, get off at 50 and hang a right, you'll see a 7-11. You'll actually see it sitting at the light. If it's in the morn, I'll buy you one of their breakfast...concoctions.
Good idea on the Sunpass. With that dual axle behind you, you're adding $2 extra bucks per toll...
-
Mike ,Mike,Mike, you crack me up!
Great Aquasport Gathering guys!Nice pics!
-
It was nice to meet you guys saturday. Sorry we didn't stay long, we got a late start in the morning and my family wanted to do some fishing. I ordered a new Ram mount for the trolling motor and I guarantee I won't loose that one....I'm putting a leash on that beotch. I knew I'd drop it one day...I grabbed it as it was on the way into the Atlantic Ocean when I sea trialed the boat a couple weeks ago.
Take care guys.
-
what's the plan for the Spring meetup? Scott you mentioned down here in my area?
-
We may have to "couch" that idea.

Doc...you ARE the man! Your gathering instincts/photographic skills are without peer
PS...not to thread derail...but do you think if the rest of us came next year they could bring one in a nurse's outfit and administer testosterone shots? Thanks.
