Aaron,
You need to stop embarrassing yourself showing pics of those slow Cigarettes...

Nice boat, hate the paint job, what did she have for motors and drives?

its my neighbors boat lol the boat originally had a pair of 650 or 700 sci's i dont remember, but they didnt last too long so he built a pretty stock pair of 502's, still puts out about 450 hp/ea, built them to last and get better mileage. drives are bravo ones... cruises mid 50s at 3500 rpms. at that speed the boat actually gets pretty good mileage.

Interesting.  Ran into a guy at a gas station in Bradenton many moons ago pulling a 43 Scarab.  As I was working for Wellcraft at the time, I asked him what motors.  He said 502 MAGs.  I asked why so tame (a 43 is a triple).  He said he kept blowing 800s because they over-revved when he launched...guess he never figured out how to pull back the throttles after the first set...duhhhh!

Whewwwww!  For a minute there I thought you were talking about the pontoon in the background!

Cool ride aren't they?

I used to have a buddy with one and we made the trip to Bimini about once a month. Getting over the hump a couple of times was VERY interesting!

Edit : of course that was when gas was $1.20 at the marinas!

i kinda liked the sail boat over the bow. sometimes a nice slow ride is better than a boat you cant find a place to put ur tackle box.lol
